The Forest Watch 2 sports and environmental quest will take place in Land of the Leopard on 3 June. Participants will walk along the Leopard Trail and complete several tasks. The event will mark Ecologists’ Day.
The quest will have several stages where the participants will learn about the Far Eastern leopard, its habitat and conservation efforts. Participants will form teams of two to seven people and come up with a team name. To learn more about the Forest Watch 2 quest, visit the Land of the Leopard website.
“Ecologists’ Day at Land of the Leopard has traditionally become a family holiday, so we invite both children and adults to come out. Our venue will bring together people of various ages and interests,” said Valentina Pichugina, head of the environmental education department at Land of the Leopard.
Visitors will also take part in the park’s traditional flash mob, Let’s Save the Leopard Together, and will line up to form a Far Eastern leopard’s paw. All guests will be treated to tea made of herbs collected at Land of the Leopard.
Land of the Leopard hosted the first Forest Watch quest in 2017 on Ecologists’ Day.
