Land of the Leopard is presenting its new eco-trails at the 22nd Pacific International Tourism Expo (PITE), which opened in Vladivostok on 18 May.
It is the fifth time that Land of the Leopard is taking part in the expo. This year, the national park, as a winner of the regional competition Leaders of the Tourist Industry, is showing its projects on the collective platform Russia's Eastern Ring.
Land of the Leopard's stand features its current trails as well as the new ones. The national park plans to launch a cycling route with a view of Vladivostok and a Korean-style eco-trail.
The expo also gives people a chance to feel as if they are the rare spotted predators themselves — there is a camera trap at the stand, the same as one of the 400 cameras recording national park animals.
PITE 2018 will be open until 20 May at Far Eastern Federal University on Russky Island. During the three days, organisations from Asia-Pacific countries will be presenting their tourism projects.
