Land of the Leopard National Park took part in the 21st Pacific International Tourism Expo (PITE). The three-day expo opened in Vladivostok on 19 May. Visitors learned about the Leopard Trail route which will open soon and where tourists will be able to see the unique nature and learn the history of the area.
"The participation of Land of the Leopard in the annual international tourism expo has become a good tradition," said Zilya Ibatullina, deputy director for environmental education and tourism at Land of the Leopard. "This expo is a window to the preserved world of the Primorye Territory. Southwestern Primorye has truly amazing nature: a unique combination of various terrains and climate zones makes the area of the national park and reserve a place for educational tourism and active leisure all year round."
The exhibition also featured the presentation of a two-day guided tour that includes walking the Heart of the Kedrovaya Pad Valley trail in the nature reserve and the Leopard's Lair eco-trail in the national park. Accommodation will be provided at a hotel at Land of the Leopard.
