Pukha is a female Far Eastern leopard in her prime. She is very cautious and rarely poses for trail cameras. Only once she showed interest in a motion-sensor camera and approached it.
Camera trap images suggest that she has not given birth to cubs yet, but according to specialists, this will surely change soon, with many active male leopards inhabiting this part of the national park.
The leopardess was given her unusual name — Pukha — by her keepers, Artyom and Nadezhda Sukhanov, donors to Land of the Leopard.
