Director of the Amur branch of the World Wildlife Fund Yury Darman was given the honour to name the male Far Eastern leopard under the ID number Leo 60M on the occasion of his 60th birthday. The predator received a resonant name, Brave. Now Brave is about four years old now, which is his prime of life. Judging by his excellent physical condition, the young predator seems to have no problem hunting.
Although Brave lives in the north of Land of the Leopard, near the border with China, he is in no hurry to leave the national park. All through the year 2015, images of the leopard were captured by camera traps exclusively in Russia.
In the photos, Brave is often hurrying, which is not surprising as he needs to go around his territory to check everything out. Sometimes, however, he allows himself some rest, sprawling out in view of the trail cameras.
