Leo 48F is an adult leopardess who lives near the Russian-Chinese border. She seems to show keen interest in automatic cameras and often sets aside her feline wariness to pose for them. Employees of Land of the Leopard National Park have obtained more than one image of the leopardess looking directly into the camera trap, and once she even shielded the lens with her face.
The scientists have never captured Leo 48F with her cubs on camera, though. She does not seem to want them to come too close to the camera traps.
Leo 48F is still nameless, but will probably get a name soon.
