Friends of the leopard
Meet the people who help protect the Far Eastern leopard. Researchers work directly in the national park and nature reserve, monitoring the leopard population and making sure these rare wild cats have everything they need. Keepers are sort of like godparents to the leopards, only they win the right to name their spotted “godchildren” in contests. Reporters share our passion for wildlife, and their work brings the Far Eastern leopard to life for us and tells its fascinating story. Finally, there are Chiefs – the people in charge of Far Eastern leopard protection and conservation projects.
You too can become a friend of the Far Eastern leopard!
