Alba (Leo 56F)

Alba is a female Far Eastern leopard who is about five years old and lives in the southern part of the national park on the border with China. First reported by the park's researchers in 2014, the leopardess has been often recorded by trail cameras. The wild cat invariably holds her tail high in the air, which indicates good health and contentment.

The wild cat was named in 2016 by the pupils of Inessa Svetlova School in the Moscow Region who helped their schoolmate Alexander "Sasha" Grigoryev organise a charity project called Help the Far Eastern Leopard Survive.
