Leo 64M is a young male Far Eastern leopard about three years old. Judging by the trail camera images, Leo 64M is a very active leopard.
His mother, Grace, has been seen on both sides of the Russian-Chinese border but images of Leo 64M have only been captured by trail cameras in Land of the Leopard National Park so far. It is possible the animal was born in Russia and is reluctant to change ‘citizenship.'
This summer, for the first time ever, researchers retrieved images of leopard mating rituals in the wild; the male was Leo 64M who was photographed with an unknown leopardess.
